Polystyrene is a synthetic polymer product that comes in foam or solid form. It is one of the most common plastics in the world. High Impact Polystyrene (HIPS) can be used in many print applications, including promotional signs, display materials, garden stakes and tags, posters, and retail packaging, as well as 3D lenticular or moving images (images that give an illusion of depth or movement). HIPS is specifically formulated for use in graphic arts applications.
HIPS is a lightweight, low cost easily processed thermoplastic material. An opaque white colour, it is easily die cut and printed.
